Ashley Hunsaker is the chief executive officer of HTS Coatings LLC, a thermal spray, machining, and grinding company she has run alongside her husband, Jason, since 2015.
Earlier in her career, Ashley worked as a controller for Pressline Services, Inc., having previously spent four years as an accountant. She spent a year as a controller and inventory manager for Joy Tribout, Interior Design, in between her two roles at Pressline Services, Inc. She began her career with World Ford Pensacola, where she spent a year working as a bookkeeper following the completion of her Bachelor of Science degree from Pensacola Christian College.
Motivated by a strong work ethic and living by the motto, “Every day, do your best,” Ashley’s desire to do the right thing and to care for the people around her, from clients to employees to family, is why she decided to launch her campaign for state representative.
With her record running one of the fastest-growing privately held companies in the U.S., Ashley is ready to take her business experiences to make Illinois a tax-friendly and safe state for businesses and families. It’s time to put Illinois on a pathway of reform and deliver results for future generations.
Alongside her primary career responsibilities, Ashley has contributed her skills to several professional and civic endeavors, including the C12 Group, an organization for Christian business leaders, and the Mosaic Pregnancy & Health Centers as a board member and treasurer. She is also a member of the Illinois Manufacturing Association and Remanufacturing Industries Council.
Ashley has been married to her husband, Jason, for eighteen happy years, and together they are the proud parents of four children, Robert, Andrew, April, and Daniel. They are covenant members of August Gate Church in Belleville. In her spare time, Ashley enjoys running half marathons, camping, and hiking.
